Federal Board Matric(10th class) annual Result 2016
The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced the annual result of matric examination 2016. The result is uploaded by the board on its official website by 10:00 a.m.
All the top three positions of both science and arts groups were secured by girls.

FBISE position holders:
Manahil Umar of science group secured the first position followed by Urooj Fatima and Ayman Gull as second position holders, whereas, Eresha Rehman secured the third position.
In the arts group, Areej Sajjad got the first position, Hifza Saeed was second and Rabia Imran secured the third position.
A total of 83,997 students were registered with the board for examination in which 503 candidates remain absent. A total of 82894 candidates appeared in the exams.
According to the results, 58081 candidates passed the examination, whereas the overall passing percentage in the examination was 79.47.
Talking at the ceremony of announcing the final result, the State Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training said that the Federal Board was a role model for other boards of intermediate and secondary education in the country according to international surveys.
He said that a fully equipped one window operation of the federal board had been completed to facilitate the students and the government was trying hard to uplift the standards of the other boards as well.
Engineer Balighur Rehman congratulated all the successful candidates especially the position holders. He said: “We should also appreciate and encourage those students who could not get through the exams this year and they should do more hard work and should reappear for the exams.”
The minister also lauded the administration of the federal board over the preparation of timely and errorless results and said; “The preparation of results is an outcome of the hard work of teachers and the employees of the federal board.
The minister of state also presented bouquets to the position holders present on the occasion and praised the parents of the position holders.
Meanwhile, the federal board officials said that the result was available on the official website of the board while the students can also check their results by sending an SMS to 5050.
